Putting anything and everything together

I have always enjoyed the ability and freedom to create, whether that be by hand or digitally. Despite the comfort of having a pencil in hand, being able to craft and edit digitally has given me more control in bringing to life what is on my mind.

Canva Cocktails
With production of digital media on the rise, I couldn't help but research and then dabble into the realm of digital products. Combining my love for a cheeky cocktail, I created collage art collection in Canva featuring some of my favourite drinks and coming up with some spunky quotes to match.

I used Canva's Elements tools to source images and edited them based on the vibe of the drink, playing with fonts, opacity and layering. I then listed some of my work as digital products to be downloaded on Etsy.
Making Menus
Menus were a vital part of my chocolate making business that I researched. I had to make a decision between a photographic menu and a digital one, opting for the digital for ease of iteration and change. For these menus, I used Adobe Photoshop to begin with and created more of a painterly effect to showcase the bonbons. Whilst they did look somewhat better, the detail in the pudding made iterating more time-consuming. After balancing a full-time job and making the chocolates, I made the decision to switch to Canva Pro for menu designs.

Editing (and adapting)
I use a range of editing software to bring my food photography and designs to life such as tweaking photos in Adobe Lightroom to enhance them. Being able to edit both photos and videos for both content creation, marketing and showcasing my own work (Premiere Pro for showreel work) has given me both creative freedom, the ability to progress with my skills and the ability to adapt to new software .
